Architecture PESU RR Campus

Cultural centers are characterized by thoughtful spatial planning that balances open and enclosed areas, creating flexible spaces for diverse activities. The visit to a well known center enriched the understanding of how architecture can foster community connections and sustainability, deepening our appreciation for designing culturally sensitive and environmentally responsible spaces. The use of exposed brick and concrete materials highlighted the building’s raw, honest aesthetic while blending seamlessly with its surroundings. Generous public foyers encouraged social interaction and inclusivity. The visit to Bangalore International Centre as part of the basic design course was organized by the Department of Architecture on August 14, 2025.
