Management Studies PESU RR Campus

The interactive session challenged students to go beyond theory and understand the enormous waste challenge, particularly in Bengaluru, which generates nearly 60 lakh kilos of waste every single day. The discussion highlighted how inadequate segregation and poor collection systems often push all waste into landfills, worsening the problem. Inspiring case studies where community action transformed sanitary dumping grounds into safe, usable public spaces such as playgrounds brought optimism to the debate. Instead of viewing waste only as a government responsibility, students were encouraged to see it as a space where new ideas, businesses, and community-led action can drive meaningful change. The Institute of BBA, Faculty of Management and Commerce hosted the talk by Mr. Anurudh Dutt on tackling waste challenge as part of B Talk Series at RR campus on August 20, 2025.
