Aligned with the global theme of Unmasking the Appeal: Exposing Industry Tactics on Tobacco and Nicotine Products, a health talk by a Medical officer and Psychologist from PESUIMSR highlighted health risks associated with tobacco use. The oral health screening camp was organized to detect early signs of tobacco-related oral diseases, promoting regular dental check-ups. Participants took a collective pledge to abstain from tobacco use, reinforcing the commitment to a tobacco-free lifestyle. The awareness session for the community was organized by the Department of Community Medicine on June 3, 2025 at Rural Health Training Centre, Lakkur to commemorate World No Tobacco Day.
