The 27 hour competition challenged participants in branding, storytelling, and digital content creation. Adobe experts Darakhshan Khan and Prashant Alagiya conducted a hands-on training on essential Adobe tools to enhance creative works which was followed by announcing of the problem statements. The exercises centered around rebranding hypothetical large companies, challenging participants to craft innovative strategies for repositioning these brands. Each team tackled seven key challenges within their rebranding strategy and concluded by posting vision statements that defined their brand’s new identity and direction. The first round focused on branding and storytelling, where teams developed a 2,000-word blog on their assigned problem statement, redesigned the brand’s logo, and drafted a press release. Participants were given five crisis statements, each requiring them to develop a strategic response. The crisis descriptions were released with a 15-minute gap between each, simulating the real-time pressure and unpredictability of news cycles. Post midnight, industry professionals from Surge Productions- Mr. Rahul, Mr. Rajesh, and Mr. Shiva evaluated the submissions and provided insights into storytelling and brand communication. In the second round, teams created social media campaigns for Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and the company website. Participants had the option to work solo or collaborate with other teams for a more impactful digital strategy. Judges from Surge Productions assessed creativity, engagement, and strategy, leading to the shortlisting of 8 teams for the final round. The third round challenged teams to produce a brand video, requiring innovative storytelling, planning, and execution. Surge Productions conducted a session on video production, offering guidance on scripting, cinematography, and editing. The final evaluation was conducted by Ms Anupama Shivacharya, a renowned fitness and calisthenics expert, freelance journalist, and social media influencer. Discussions with her also explored upon potential internship opportunities for students in the fields of content creation and marketing. Team Desconnect bagged the first position followed by Team Metamorph and Team Masterchef in the TriMediaThon event organized by Minerva, The Media and Journalism Club on March 21-22, 2025 at RR campus.
