The hackathon was designed to challenge conventional thinking and devise innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Participants were given real-world problem statements that required them to apply their analytical skills, technological expertise, and business acumen to develop effective and scalable solutions. The business setting for the hackathon was provided by Maleema India on sustainable fashion and supply chain innovation, Hasiru Dala Innovations on waste management and circular economy efficiency, VilCart on rural retail, logistics, and last-mile delivery optimization, Riya Chemy on digital marketing, expansion, and sustainable production and Sugandh Lok on luxury incense, sustainability, and market expansion. 37 Teams and over 200 students participated from various departments of the university.The shortlisted teams presented their solutions before the jury of Srinithya A, Mr. Mahesh Bhat, Mr. Nagaraj, Mr. Vandana Boggaram, and Mr. Gaurav Datta. The winning solutions included first prize to team Nash in incense business, second prize to team Billiards in sustainable fashion business and third prize to team Assassins in rural logistics business. The HackOps Hackathon 2025, a 24-hour business optimization competition, was successfully conducted on March 21-22, 2025, by the Institute of BBA and BBA (Business Analytics) in association with the Centre of Excellence in Learning and Development.
