The festival hosted literary debating, slam poetry, just-a-minute and comic-con competitions. The topics for literary debating were drawn from contemporary literary discussions, progressively increasing in complexity across three rounds testing their argumentation skills. The jury consisted of Prof. Srishti Muralidharan and Prof. Megha Rudrapti from the Department of Psychology. Varun Harikrishnan won first prize followed by Manasa M and Ritu Kashyap. The slam poetry competition judged by Prof. Sunitha P from the Faculty of Law saw the participants perform their original works while captivating the audience with their delivery. Yuti Naha won the first prize followed by Ritu Kashyap and Shobita Sankaran. The just-a-minute contest featured absurd and humorous topics that encouraged quick thinking, creativity, and linguistic precision. Participants spoke fluently and spontaneously on a given topic for exactly one minute without hesitation, repetition, or deviation. S Stuthi bagged the first place followed by Nikhil Sai. Comic-con brought the world of graphic storytelling and fandom to life. Cosplay, where participants embodied their favorite characters with stunning costumes and performances was won by Neha Thunguntla followed by Dristi Gowda. Comic Strip Creation which tested artistic and narrative skills as contestants crafted compelling short comics was won by Meghana Yaragalla followed by Vishnu Teja V. N. To enhance the experience, stalls were set up, featuring artists specialising in jewelry design and pottery, along with a dedicated booth for literary-themed stickers and bookmarks. Metaphoria, the inaugural intra-college literary festival, was organized by Write Angle club on February 14-15, 2025 at RR campus.
