Workshop on reinforcement learning

Participants were introduced to the core concepts of RL, understanding how agents learn through trial and error. The session also included a guided tutorial on DeepSeek, where attendees installed and ran a DeepSeek model on their local machines, ensuring they could experiment offline. Participants applied their knowledge to build a reinforcement learning based AI gaming agent. This hands-on segment allowed them to implement RL techniques in a real-world scenario, deepening their understanding through practical experience. The Neural Hive club at PES University successfully organized Reinforcement Learning Rewired, a hands-on workshop on February 12, 2025 at RR campus.
