Team Pathfinders won the Mobility Hackathon organized by MovelnSync by developing an innovative app that uses computer vision and real time heatmaps to assess the walkability of footpaths, ensuring safer streets for pedestrians. The hackathon was a part of MoveInSync’s Mobility Symposium 2024 designed to bring together industry leaders, dignitaries, policymakers, and all those who can help solve India’s massive congestion problem. The winning team from Department of CSE-EC Campus comprising of Indraneel KVS, Fardeen Shaikh, Jayanth Srinivasan, Ishaan Swain, Aditya Verulkarand Shravan Jain and received prize money of ₹1,50,000 and presented their idea at the Mobility Symposium 2024 held at The Leela Palace Bengaluru on October 3, 2024.
