The competition was structured with alternating hours dedicated to the hackathon and Hack & Crack- Capture-The-Flag cybersecurity round that challenged them to solve security-related problems by identifying vulnerabilities and overcoming technical barriers. First place was won by the team of Akshaj Headau, Naman Nagar, Akshat Navlani Gitesh Naidu for the project Budget Watch app that tracks transactions, visualizes spending through graphs, and provides actionable insights to improve financial decisions. Second place was won by the team of Vinaayak G Dasika, Suraj Acharya, Aditi Vignesh and Nimalan K E for Fintrack, an expenses tracker that works well for individuals, clubs and groups and for events. Third place was won by team of Aditya Lokwani and Aryaroop Bose for their project on reducing the return rates by customers by using a virtual try on system. Best all girls team prize went to the team of Sriharshita Vayyasi, Spandhana K and Sumithra Suresh. CodeFusion 2024, 24-hour Hackathon and cybersecurity competition was organized by the IEEE Student Branch of EC Campus on October 4, 2024.
