PES University held the inauguration and orientation for the newly admitted students to I Year MBA and MCA programs on October 6, 2024.
Sr Rai Nithin Chitransh alumnus of MCA from the class of 2007 was the Chief Guest on the Occasion. Nithin, an entrepreneur himself, shared valuable insights on entrepreneurship and emerging opportunities in the electric vehicle sector, exemplifying the university's success in producing industry-ready professionals.
Prof. Jawahar Doreswamy Hon’ble Pro Chancellor of the University in his presidential address highlighted PES University's remarkable journey to becoming one of Karnataka's top 5 educational institutions. Prof. Jawahar emphasized that PES University's success stems from its student-centric approach and dedication to nurturing future leaders in technology and innovation. He advised students to follow the core values of PES viz; Perseverance, Excellence and Service to become perfect individuals in their careers and personal lives.
During the ceremony, MRD Scholarships were awarded to students who had demonstrated exceptional academic performance in their respective courses. This recognition reinforces PES University's commitment to nurturing and rewarding outstanding achievement.
Dr. K.S. Sridhar, Registrar welcomed the gathering while Dr Shailashree Haridas, Dean, Faculty of Management and Commerce proposed the vote of thanks.
The inauguration was followed by an orientation by Dr. J. Suryaprasad, Vice Chancellor and Prof. Ajoy Kumar, Chief Operating Officer of the University showcasing PES University's commitment to fostering academic excellence while providing students with real-world perspectives and opportunities. The event successfully set the stage for an enriching academic journey for the new postgraduate cohort.
