The event Yuva Udaan, organized for the 10th grade students of Amaatra Academy, aimed to provide a platform for students to explore different academic domains, gain practical insights and develop essential life skills. Ms Gauri Reddy, the Principal of Amaatra Academy highlighted the importance of exposure to diverse fields at an early stage. The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. V. Krishna, emphasized the role of practical learning in shaping the future of students. He spoke about how PES University aims to create an environment where students can freely explore, learn, and grow, both academically and personally. Guest speakers, Vibhav Deepak and Garima Agarwal, former heads of MUNSOC, PES University touched upon the importance of developing soft skills, such as leadership, communication and teamwork, alongside academic knowledge. The participants were taken around different centers within the department of Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering , Mechanical Engineering , Biotechnology, Design and Architecture. At each center, the students were introduced to various projects and cutting edge technologies and solutions developed in the university. The interactions offered a hands-on learning experience that made many eager to explore further. The presence of faculty members and parents enlivened the event. The informative session of Yuva Udaan, held at RR campus on September 13, 2024 was organized by the Changemakers Society.
