Dr. K. S. Sridar, Registrar, Dr. Keshavan, Dean (Engineering) and Dr. Shikha Tripathi, Chairperson (ECE) received the Renesas Global Talent Acquisition team at the Vice Chancellor’s office.PES team led by Dr. J. Surya Prasad, Vice Chancellor, PES University had a discussion with the Renesas team focussing on following aspects:
- Global Semiconductor industry and talented manpower requirements in India and globally.
- Internships and full-time employment for PESU students at Renesas.
- Avenues for collaboration between PESU and Renesas were discussed.
After exchanging various avenues for collaboration, the Renesas Team visited different facilities at PESU. Dr. J. Surya Prasad led the team for showcasing the facilities at the newly inaugurated Golden Jubilee block complex (GJBC).
Renesas' team visited the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE). The CIE team updated about their activities and work of start-up companies. After CIE, The Renesas team visited the Department of ECE. Dr. Shikha Tripathi, Chairperson, ECE and faculty briefed the team with the activities connected with Chip design and embedded systems and avenues for collaboration between PESU and Renesas in semiconductor and embedded systems areas.
