Felicitation to Toppers and Inauguration of I PU Classes was held on 2nd June 2024 at Dr. MRD Auditorium, PES University, RR Campus. Shri. L. A. Ravi Subramanya, MLA Bsavanagudi, Bengaluru South, Dr. J. Surya Prasad, Vice-Chancellor, PES University, inaugurated the program.
Shri. L. A. Ravi Subramanya said that, the Educational Institutions must focus on inculcating moral values in the students and it should help them to become ethically strong individuals. He stated that, students journey starts from a beginner to a competitor. Education is not only informative but it is a combination of knowledge and wisdom. He also stated, students should not waste their time in using electronic gadgets. India is heading to become a “Vishwa Guru” and would welcome the people of other countries to study in our universities. So he emphasised it is very important to join and become graduates from reputed institutions. Also suggested that students to be alert, be attentive and be self vigilant.
In his presidential speech Dr. J. Surya Prasad stressed upon the need for value education in the system. He said that the main vision of PES Institutions is to create professionally strong and ethically superior citizens. He appreciated the role of teachers in nurturing the students with best qualities. He added that the Institution is continuously striving for the holistic development of students. He congratulated the students and parents on this occasion. Remembering the vision of founder and chairman of PES Institutions, Dr. M. R. Doreswamy sir, he emphasised on the importance of Yoga for better mental and physical health. He also focussed that the institution is continuously striving for the overall development of students which can be achieved through the mentoring system..
First and second PUC toppers of 2023-24 were felicitated during this program with gold and silver Medal along with gift vouchers, a Certificate of Merit.
Prof. M. V. Sathyanarayana, Director, HN Campus, Dr. C. Narayana Reddy, Principal, PES PU College were also present during this occasion.
