The app development ideathon consisted of three rounds, beginning with teams selecting problem statements through innovative and entertaining games organized by the hosts. In the first round, participants brainstormed and ideated app-based solutions, fostering collaboration and creativity among team members. The second round challenged participants to build prototypes of their proposed solutions, encouraging rapid iteration and innovative thinking under pressure. In the third round the shortlisted teams demonstrated the effectiveness of their prototypes and answered tough questions from judges. The jury for final round comprising of Mr. Nikhil Kabadi, CPO of ffreedom App and Prof. Vinay Joshi selected the winners with prizes that included an exclusive summer 2024 internship opportunity with the ffreedom app. First place was won by Team Fruit Punch followed by team The Bun Samosas and team Klrap. PES University’s CSE Vertical, Appex hosted the AppGenesis Ideathon on April 20, 2024 at RR campus.
