The participants worked to conceptualize, prototype, and implement their projects under the theme of Hack for Humanity. The domains included AI/ML, data analytics and visualization, web development, cybersecurity and networks, Blockchain, IoT, Cloud, hardware and

electronics, and AR/VR. First Place was won by Nishan Holla, Pratham and Skanda S Shetty who presented Harmony, a large language model for mental health enhancement.  The second place was bagged by Rishit Rastogi, Neville Joseph Sabu, Arjun Maniyani and Tanay Agarwal who developed OCTY- Open Charity, decentralized charity donation on Blockchain. The third place was bagged by Sragvi Shetty, Manvi Pruthi, Meera Rao and Tadisetty Sai Yashwanth who submitted Virago, women’s financial empowerment initiative. The team of Pallavi Arora, Manasvi Varma and Preethi M who proposed GenSkill Nexus, inter-generational skills marketplace was adjudged as best all girls team. Kalpana 2024, Hack for Humanity themed 24 hour hackathon was organized by IEEE Student Branch of ECC campus on March 15-16, 2024.
