Smart Biogas Generator won the ARM Inventors Challenge 2023 organized jointly by AICTE, ARM and STMicroelectronics. Satvagni smart biogas generator that was devised by the team of  Kaushik M, Nikhil R, Gautham Varma K and Nishchal was mentored by Dr. Rashmi Seethur. The prize included cash of ₹50,000/ and developer kits from ST for further prototype developments. The team was among top 8 teams out of 1370 teams that applied for this competition with submissions based on the United Nations’ Global Goals, with over 80 teams receiving developer boards from STMicroelectronics for prototyping their ideas. The team presented the invention before Guru Ganesan, President and MD, ARM India; Vivek Sharma MD STM India, Prof T G Sitharam, Chairman AICTE and a delegation from Taiwan headed by Lio Mon-Chi, Deputy Education Minister of Taiwan.
