Dr. Kumar Raja N.P. is a distinguished academician and seasoned professional in the field of Management and Commerce with over 25 years of comprehensive experience in teaching, research, administration, and institutional development. His career reflects a deep commitment to fostering academic excellence, mentoring future leaders, and bridging the gap between academia and industry.

Currently serving as a Professor at PES University, Bangalore, Dr. Raja has held esteemed positions at several reputed institutions, including Associate Professor roles at Kristu Jayanti College and Professor at SDGS College, Hindupur, where he also served as Vice Principal. He began his academic journey at Balayesu Degree & PG College, Hindupur, playing a pivotal role in developing and leading the BBM and M.Com departments.

Dr. Raja holds a Ph.D. in Management from S.K. University and has further strengthened his academic foundation with an M.B.A., M.Com, M.Phil., and APSET qualification in Commerce . His areas of expertise span Marketing Management, Finance, and Human Resource Management, and he has consistently delivered impactful lectures and courses across these domains.

An ardent researcher, Dr. Raja has guided over 500 UG and PG student research projects and published more than 30 scholarly articles in SCOPUS-indexed and UGC-CARE-listed journals. He has also authored and co-authored five academic books, contributed to curriculum development, and participated in national and international conferences, including those hosted by IITs and IIMs. His academic contributions include being an appointed lesson writer for S.K. University’s Distance Education Program and an editorial board member for peer-reviewed journals.

Beyond academics, Dr. Raja has made significant contributions to institutional development—leading NAAC accreditation teams, securing CBSE affiliation for schools, organizing CSR initiatives such as 120+ free eye operation camps, and spearheading job fairs and campus recruitment programs. His passion for student success and social upliftment is evident through his engagement in entrepreneurship training and faculty development programs.
