Smrthi Harits is an educator, management consultant, and policy researcher with a deep commitment to public service, design education, and cultural heritage. She currently serves as the Program Manager at the Institute of Design, PES University, where she brings a multidisciplinary approach to design, management, and policy implementation.
With an MBA in Marketing and extensive experience in service design for the public sector, her areas of interest include public policy marketing, last-mile delivery of government services, and leveraging India's soft power through artistic and cultural initiatives. She is particularly passionate about integrating design thinking and service innovation into policy frameworks to enhance citizen engagement and governance.
With over a decade of experience in the non-profit sector, Smrthi has successfully led and managed NGOs, advocating for cultural preservation and social impact. She is the Founder of Kagakka Gubakka, a movement dedicated to reconnecting children with India's rich cultural heritage through storytelling and games. Additionally, she serves as a Director at Samhati Foundation, an organization focused on strengthening and advocating for the Indian family system.
Her work spans education, policy, and cultural entrepreneurship, making her a key contributor to both academic and social discourse in India.
