Dr. Mrinmoy Roy

Professor Mrinmoy Roy holds an overall 15-plus years of Industry and Academic experience, including experience in MNCs and in the consulting space. He has worked in Southeast Asia and transitioned Pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing in a franchise business model from an administrative to a strategic business partnership specifically in the product management space. His experience spans healthcare industries like pharmaceuticals, hospitals, and public health. He has developed and implemented key strategic initiatives aligned with business needs His expertise extends to Product Design & Development, New Product Launches, Portfolio Management, Market Research, Operational Interventions and formulation of business-specific marketing processes and procedures.

He has set up and spearheaded the Pharmaceutical Management Specialization, designed the curriculum, and taught most of the modules under the PGDM Health and Hospital Management Course at the Institute of Health Management Research, Bangalore as an Assistant Professor.

He is a Ph.D. Scholar in ‘Operations Research & Management: Artificial Intelligence’ from Mittal School of Business, Lovely Faculty of Business & Arts, Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar. Professor Mrinmoy also has an MSc. in Computer Science from Alagappa University, an MBA in International Business and Strategic Marketing from the Institute of Chartered & Financial Analysts of India University and a B. Pharm from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.

He is also pursuing his PG Diploma in Education Management and Administration from IGNOU, and PGCHM from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning and Certification in Management Consulting from ICMCI.

Professor Mrinmoy has more than 25 publications in SCOPUS/WOS-indexed, UGC-CARE and Peer-reviewed journals, presented his research papers at several National/ International Conferences hosted by Institutions like IIM-B, IIM-J, IIM-BG, LPU, BIT MESRA, Goa Institute of Management, Nirma University, University Putra Malaysia, Universitas Andalas, Indonesia, The American University in Cairo, Firat University, Turkey to name a few.
