An interdisciplinary center of excellence in healthcare technologies serves to foster innovation, research, and development in the field of Healthcare Engineering and Technology. It brings together experts from various disciplines including Medicine, Engineering, Computer science, and Data analytics to collaborate on projects aimed at advancing healthcare through technology. The Healthcare Engineering sector is evolving at a great pace, due to the advancements in software and medical devices.
Our Objectives
Foster a culture of innovation in healthcare technologies by conducting research in medical areas like Cardiovascular Diseases, Geriatrics, Neuroscience, Mental Health, Women Health, Oncology, Medical Informatics, etc.,
Have collaboration between engineers, medical professionals, and researchers to develop solutions to address complex healthcare challenges.
Facilitate courses, training programs and workshops for students, research scholars, and industry personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge in healthcare technologies.
Develop prototypes of medical devices, diagnostic tools, and healthcare software applications that have the potential to improve patient care.
