Bengaluru, November 22–23, 2025 – PES University students actively participated in the Canara Bank Marathon, held at Kanteerava Stadium, gaining invaluable real-world exposure to large-scale event management.

The marathon, attended by over 10,000 participants, featured prominent guests including Mr. Venkatesh Prasad, former cricketer, and senior officials from Canara Bank. The event was organized by U-Rox, with PESU students contributing significantly to its success.

Student Roles and Responsibilities
Students from the 3rd and 5th semesters volunteered across critical operational zones, including:

  • Medal distribution
  • Medical stations
  • Start-line coordination
  • VIP and stall area assistance
  • Stage management
  • Sound and light checks
  • MC coordination

Through these roles, students observed the dynamic execution of a major athletic event and learned the importance of coordination, safety procedures, and professional guest handling.
