Workshop on portfolio building

Creating a professional, impactful portfolio advances career prospects and growth opportunities. Prof. Nikhil Manikandan conducted the workshop on the essentials of building a professional digital portfolio aligned to the resume. Mr Nikhil emphasized clear formatting, simple language, error-free content, the use of action verbs, and quantifiable achievements to stand out. Stressing the value of networking, he shared employment metrics and practical tips such as optimizing LinkedIn profiles, attending events, and joining professional organizations. The session also covered different portfolio types social, cloud, and digital, culminating in a hands-on activity where students created their own digital portfolios. His core message, “Your network is your net worth,” encouraged students to combine strong presentation skills with effective networking for career growth. People's Partner, the official HR club of Institute of BBA (Business Analytics) organised the portfolio building workshop on August 13, 2025 at RR campus.
