To commemorate World TB Day 2025, the Department of Community Medicine, PES Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (PESIMSR), Kuppam, organized an impactful awareness program on March 24, 2025, at Kuppam Engineering College (KEC). The event was led by students and faculty members from the department and focused on spreading awareness about tuberculosis among the student community. The program emphasized the global theme, “Yes! We can end TB. Commit, Invest and Deliver,” inspiring action and shared responsibility through thought-provoking messages such as “End TB today for a healthier tomorrow” and “Ending TB is not a choice, it's a responsibility.” Poster presentations by medical interns from PESIMSR, Kuppam further enriched the program, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 1,000 students of KEC. This collaborative initiative, coordinated by the students and faculty of Community Medicine, PESIMSR, Kuppam, and supported by social work professionals, served as a vital platform to reinforce public commitment toward the elimination of tuberculosis.
