A prestigious State-Level Workshop on Research Methodology – 2025 was inaugurated on 22.05.2025 at PES Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (PESIMSR), Kuppam. The event is jointly organized by the Department of Community Medicine in collaboration with the Research and Innovation Cell.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by eminent dignitaries Dr. H. R. Krishna Rao, Dean & Principal, PESIMSR; Dr. N. Raja Ramesh, Observer, Andhra Pradesh Medical Council; Dr. Chitra Nagaraj, Head, Department of Community Medicine; and Dr. Praveen Kumar B A, Nodal Officer, Research and Innovation Cell.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. H. R. Krishna Rao emphasized the vital role of research in the advancement of medical science and highlighted its importance in achieving better healthcare outcomes. He encouraged participants to make full use of the workshop to enhance their research competencies.
The workshop is scheduled to take place from 22nd to 25th May 2025. It includes a range of training sessions, hands-on workshops, and expert interactions aimed at medical faculty, postgraduate students, and budding researchers.
Representatives from medical colleges across Andhra Pradesh have joined the event, making it a hub for academic collaboration, educational advancement, and capacity building in medical research.
This initiative reflects PESIMSR's ongoing commitment to academic excellence and aligns with national goals of fostering research-driven medical education and innovation.
