Healthcare stream magazine released

The healthcare stream magazine of PES University, Samvaada, was formally released by Prof. Jawahar Doreswamy, Chancellor of PES University. The title Samvaada, a Sanskrit word meaning "dialogue," was chosen by Medical Director Dr. Suresh Krishnamurthy to emphasize the longstanding tradition of meaningful conversation and knowledge exchange between teachers and students in academic institutions. The name reflects the magazine’s aim of fostering dialogue and the sharing of ideas within the university community. Dr. Avinash, editorial board in-charge, noted that the magazine will serve as a platform to showcase multidisciplinary events from the medical fraternity, along with a variety of engaging sections for both students and faculty. The release event was attended by Prof. Ajoy Kumar, Dr. Roopa Suresh, and Dr. Hariprasad T R, along with editorial board members Dr. Sushma Naidu V, Dr. Smitha Chandra B C, and Dr. Varsha R Patil. The event was held on April 15, 2025, at the EC campus.
