Design PESU RR Campus

At the Department of Design, PES University, creativity met cosmos as our Semester 1 students explored the five universal elements—Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space—through wearable art.

As part of a foundational design project, students were challenged to create masks, crowns, or accessories that embodied the essence of one chosen element. With a focus on color, form, and symbolism, each creation was a personal interpretation, blending imagination with conceptual thinking.

  • Earth-themed pieces featured earthy tones, textured layers, and natural materials—symbols of grounding and strength.
  • Water designs flowed with translucent fabrics, fluid forms, and cool palettes—echoing serenity and motion.
  • Fire accessories stood out with bold silhouettes, striking reds, and dynamic energy—celebrating intensity and transformation.

This exercise was not just about crafting accessories—it was about translating abstract ideas into tangible design, and learning to communicate through material, form, and visual language.
