On January 10th, 2025, Faculty of management studies at PES university hosted an engaging CXO talk featuring Mr. Gregory Profeta, Global business leader partner with PwC US. He spoke about Leadership in Times of Change with subtopics including Purpose-Led, Values-Driven Leadership, Tech for Change, Tech for Good, leading with Heart, Leading with Courage.
Mr. Gregory Profeta highlighted PwC's focus on customer value through ethics, quality, integrity, and client understanding. He outlined PwC's core pillars—Audit, Tax, and Advisory—emphasizing trust in capital markets, the strategic role of tax, and advisory solutions for business challenges. He also discussed PwC's sustainability efforts, risk management for natural disasters, and AI integration, which improves efficiency by 30–50%.
Along with Mr. Gregory Profeta, the PwC leadership team also graced the event. Mr. Hari Kumar, Managing partner at PwC and a visionary leader who builds and transforms global organizations, along with Mr. Gregory Profeta, stressed the need for future leaders to be smart, empathetic, adaptable, and committed to lifelong learning during the Q&A session which was based on team management and workplace diversity, followed by leadership discussions and photos with the entire PwC team.
From the event, the key learnings include the importance of purpose-led, values-driven leadership rooted in ethics and integrity, along with the need for leaders to be adaptable, empathetic, and committed to lifelong learning to navigate rapid technological and organizational changes effectively.
