PES Students Excel at RBI90 Quiz, Advance to National Finals
D. Bhargava Rama Sarma (3rd Semester AI & ML) and Divyansh Sharma (3rd Semester CSE) achieved success in the RBI90 Quiz, organized by the Reserve Bank of India, securing second place in the Zonal Round held in Kochi on 25th November 2024.
Representing PES University, Electronic City Campus, the team was awarded a cash prize of ₹4 lakhs and has advanced to the Finals, scheduled to take place in Mumbai on 6th December 2024. The RBI90 Quiz began with an online preliminary round, where 20,000 teams competed, and only 90 were selected for the State-Level Round. Held at FKCCI Auditorium, Bengaluru, on 14th November 2024, Bhargava and Divyansh secured first place in the State-Level Round and won ₹2 lakhs in prize money. This victory earned them a spot in the Zonal Round in Kochi.
Covering topics such as India, global affairs, General Knowledge, and the Reserve Bank of India, the competition saw PES University's team excel with their outstanding knowledge and teamwork.
