Architect Nitya Rajendran elaborated on the preparation of a UNESCO World Heritage dossier for the Monuments of Srirangapatna discussing the importance of heritage conservation, community involvement, and sustainable tourism. The session deepened students’ appreciation for cultural heritage and inspired them to integrate heritage awareness into future architectural projects. The Faculty of Architecture hosted the seminar titled Matters of Past, Shaping the Future: A Journey with UNESCO World Heritage led by Nitya Rajendran from the University of Liverpool’s ArCHIAM Research Centre, on October 8, 2024.
