Alumni from the class of 1999 in Electronics and Communication Engineering celebrated their 25th year of graduation on the campus. The event witnessed a large gathering of alumni with many of them having flown from countries outside India. It was a very nostalgic moment with most of them meeting each other after they graduated. The presence of teachers who taught them added fervor to the event. The team felicitated all the teachers and paid their respects to them. It was a moment of great pride to the teachers to see the alumni having reached peak positions in their careers.
A delightful surprise was the participation of the 1998 batch students, who joined us in the celebration, adding an extra layer of joy and connection to the event.
The location was aptly chosen, the college itself, allowing both students and teachers to relive those cherished moments from their past. As the day unfolded, students shared humorous and treasured incidents from their college days, bringing smiles and laughter to the gathering. Our teachers, too, reminisced about those times, fondly recalling the journeys of their former students.
Prof. Jawahar Doreswamy, Pro Chancellor, shared some truly inspiring updates. His visionary leadership continues to steer the institution toward remarkable achievements, highlighting the consistent growth and success of PES.
Live streaming and interaction for those who are not able to make it to the occasion, across the world were also done, making it possible for everyone to be part of this special occasion, regardless of their location.
The lunch that followed provided a wonderful opportunity for students and teachers to reconnect, strengthen their bonds, and create new memories. These tokens of gratitude symbolize the deep impact they have had on shaping our futures, guiding us with their wisdom, and supporting us through every challenge. Their dedication and commitment have left a lasting legacy that continues to inspire us long after our time at the college. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Prof. Bindu, who joined remotely, and to all the teachers who took the time to attend the function, including Prof. D. Jawahar, Prof. J. Surya Prasad, Prof. K.
