Experiential learning in managing events

Experiential learning, characterized by hands-ons approach is increasingly recognized as vital for developing skills and knowledge relevant to the dynamic business initiatives. Students of hospitality and event management assisted the professional firms in managing industry shows. At the AWS Summit 2024 held on September 19, 2024 at The Ritz-Carlton, the students managed backstage audio visual operations, on stage sequence, key guest relations, demo booths and visitor registration. At the RTP Global Summit 2024, hosted by Realize True Potential, an early stage VC firm, that was held on September 17, 2024 at Taj West End, students handled the tasks of event production, sound and acoustics tracking, stage set up and post event wrap up activities. The participation of students was facilitated by the department of BBA HEM.
