Students of PES Polytechnic have won the state level project exhibition organized by Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum, Bengaluru (VITM), on March 14, 2024. The students team of Diploma in Electronics and Communication of PES Polytechnic, designed and developed the unmanned defense smart shooting vehicle (UDSS) to reduce the risk of military personnel in zero tolerance defense area. This GPS guided autonomous vehicle, detects unidentified persons / enemy through a camera, targets the vehicle and shoots them as well as communicates with military base in real time.
