PES University organized the Entrepreneurship and Family Business Conclave on 11th March 2024, to foster entrepreneurial spirit among aspiring youngsters.
Dr. Shailashree Haridas, Dean, Faculty of Management and Commerce, set the context of the conclave and recounted PES University’s remarkable journey. She also spoke about the importance of the E-Conclave in the holistic development of students.
Dr. J Surya Prasad, Vice-Chancellor of PES University, spoke about the outstanding growth of PES University in terms of placements over the years. He spoke about the values and opportunities provided by the university to ensure better careers for students.
Adding on, the Pro-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Jawahar Doreswamy, addressed the gathering about the futuristic goals of the University to make the learning experience more interactive and relevant.
In his keynote address, Mr. Shakir Haq, CEO of NKP Empire Ventures Private Ltd, highlighted the outstanding caliber of PES University students. He urged students to work hard to achieve their goals by incorporating innovation and technology into their business plans. Citing the example of Empire Hotel, he said that it has monopolized the food industry through consistency and discipline. Easy accessibility and quality of food have made Empire Hotel one of the most successful businesses in Bangalore.
The summit served as a platform for leading Entrepreneurial experts, Students, and Venture capitalists to understand and evaluate the diversity of the Entrepreneurial market, strategies, and consumer patterns. The key highlights of the conclave included panel discussions on topics such as investments, returns, core values, and innovation.
