Field visit to home of hope

Home of Hope aims to transform the nation with greater and stronger values of service towards the underprivileged. The field visit by students of psychology proved to be an immersive experience with genuine interactions delving into the inspiring narrative of the founder T Raja, known more as Auto Raja. They engaged in meaningful conversations with inmates gaining insights into individual stories, living conditions and daily challenges faced. A street play by students portrayed diverse strengths emphasizing the immense impact of support on personal growth. The field visit to Home of Hope as part of Chittasparsh initiative provided practical exposure to the clinical and social work related aspects of mental health was facilitated by the Department of Psychology on February 8, 2024.
