Open source software in quantum computing is vital to improving the standardisation and quality. The three day workshop aimed at bringing awareness about the power of open source in quantum Computing focused on qBraid. Each day was dedicated to a specific aspect essential in one's journey to work on Quantum Computing algorithms through self study. On day one, participants were introduced to Version Control and the process of collaborative project management through Git and GitHub. On day two, the speaker Mr. Akash Kant introduced the students to qBraid, a one stop solution to access quantum computers, and schedule and run our programs on them. He also spoke about Q4bio, a program focused on monitoring research growth within the application of Quantum Computing. On day three, he demonstrated working of gates and parallel presence of all bit streams as opposed to a classical computer that exhibits a particular state at any given time. Mr Akash Kant is a quantum cloud architect passionate about evangelizing Quantum Computing. Quantum Leap, the three day workshop was hosted Google Meet from October 16 to 19, 2023 by QForest, The Quantum Computing club.
