Students representing PES University won first runner-up position at Kolhapur Institute of Technology’s Pioneer '23. Their captivating presentation on “The effect of Nano Clay in Silver Decorated Polyaniline for AC Electrical Conductivity, Humidity and EMI Shielding properties of Nanocomposites” impressed judges and showcased their expertise in Composite Materials. The Event Abhivyakti under Pioneer '23 conducted by KIT was held on 23-04-2023 at KIT. The Event had over 100 paper registrations from various fields among which 25 were shortlisted. 25 Teams presented their paper at the event. The Teams were given 10 minutes each to present their paper and they were questioned on their presentation. The panel of judges, consisting of professors and industry experts, faced the difficult task of evaluating outstanding research projects. Student's ability to engage the audience and convey complex concepts left a lasting impression. The First Place was bagged by a team of 8th semester Mechanical Engineering Students who received ₹10,000. 1st runner-up was bagged by Naveen M, Arun Murugappan I, C. V. Anantha Krishnan, A. C. Anirudh Raj and Ashutosh Sriram from PES University under their research advisor Dr. M Revanasiddappa received a cash prize of ₹7,500.The Program was attended by many dignitaries such as Mr.Rohan Sarnaik the chairperson of KIT, Dr. Mohan the director of KIT university along with other Dignitaries. Upon receiving the first runner-up award, Team expressed their gratitude to the organizers, fellow participants, and the academic community for their support and encouragement. They also acknowledged the invaluable guidance and mentorship of their research advisor, whose expertise and encouragement played a pivotal role in their success.
The annual event, organized by KIT's Department of Chemistry, drew talented participants from various institutions. This achievement highlights the talent nurtured by PES University and inspires future scientists.
