Department of Mechanical Engineering organized VINYASA – A 3D Modelling Hackathon Event on Jan 21, 2023 at PESU 52 Hackroom. The Hackathon spans over 10 hours, Mr. Kiran M and Mr. Sachhidananda M H, Assistant professors along with Student volunteers and Dr N Rajesh Mathivanan Chairperson Coordinated this event.

The event started at 9:00 am, A 2D industry drawing of fixture assembly challenge was laid on teams for 8 hours. It comprises critical parts like Bracket, Fixture plates, Drive shafts and Bearing housing along with 15 individual parts. Participating students had an influence of reading industry drawing, bill of materials, knowing about Geometric dimensioning and Tolerances, various heat treatment processes and modelling and assembling of individual parts.
