PES University entered into an MoU with Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) on February 23rd 2023 for enhancing skills and will pave way for Credit programs, Internship, Placement, Consulting and Research projects for all stakeholders The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India was established on 1st October 2016 under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 Code. It is a key pillar of the ecosystem responsible for implementation of the Code that consolidates and amends the laws relating to reorganization and insolvency resolution of corporate persons, partnership firms and individuals in a time bound manner. This will maximize the value of assets of such persons, to promote entrepreneurship, availability of credit and balance the interests of all the stakeholders.
PES University will impart continuous professional development Programs, Research and consultancies, Certifications and workshops for Insolvency Professionals and other stakeholders of IBC Ecosystem. Shri. Amit Pradhan, Executive Director of IBBI, and Dr. J. Suryaprasad, Vice Chancellor PES University, signed the MOU Dr. K.S.Sridhar, Registrar, PES University, Dr. Shalishree Haridas Dean, FOMC, PES University, Manager of Advocacy division, IBBI, Ms. Nimish Singh and Head of Commerce department Prof. Rupasi were present on the occasion.
