Understanding input tax credit mechanism under new tax regime

An uninterrupted and seamless chain of the input tax credit is one of the key features of Goods and Services Tax. Deepak Kumar, Chartered Accountant explained the role of input tax credit in eliminating cascading effects under the indirect tax system in our country.
