PESU I/O Slot 13 Orientation was held for first-year BTech students, facilitated by the COO of PES Institutions-Prof. Ajoy Kumar at the MRD Auditorium at PES University, RR campus.
Slot 13 is a PESU I/O initiative to provide a peer-to-peer learning platform where students interact with a plethora of Subject Matter Experts from different domains to gain insights and aspire to learn a new skill from the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
Slot 13 orientation was facilitated exquisitely by Prof.Ajoy Kumar explaining the different courses of various subjects for the exclusive 13 Days certification course helping students learn industry-relevant skills. The Orientation helped students understand more about the PESU I/O Alumni network and how these skills would add value to the students in building their portfolios.
Prof. Ajoy Kumar also shared insights on how PESU I/O have been impacting the lives of students throughout its journey and how many successful alumni of PESU I/O are still in close contact, enhancing the quality of the network. He further stated that these courses aid in enhancing knowledge, hence making students industry-ready. Another major learning from the orientation was that learning does not stop at 3:30 PM at PES University!
