PESU NEWS & EVENTS - FREE MEDICAL HEALTH CHECK UP CAMP - 2022, PES UNIVERSITY - OUR PLANET OUR HEALTH

On the Occasion of World Health Day, A free Medical Health Check-up Camp and a Health awareness programme was organized by Department of Pharmacy practice, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, PES University on April 7. 2022. at Avalahalli park, Girinagar, Bangalore, Karnataka. The objective of the camp was to serve the basic medical needs of the locality and to provide information regarding diet, exercise and weight control and further manage medication adherence. A total of 20 students along with the faculties and Department led by Dr.Srinivasan, has provided the services of general body checkup, blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar level monitoring. Further counseling and creating awareness about chronic diseases which are more prevalent in India. The camp was successfully organized and carried out and approximately 200 members have benefited from the camp. Camp was co-ordinated by Dr. J. Saravanan, Dean, FPS PES University.
