As a part of driving the students into socially responsible and service- minded. A free Medical Health Check-up Camp and a Health awareness program were organized by the Department of Pharmacy Practice, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences,  PES University held on 19th February 2022 at Vivekananda Park, Girinagar, Bangalore, Karnataka. The objective of the camp was to serve the basic medical needs of the public and to provide information regarding diet, exercise, weight  control, and further management of medication adherence. A total of 25 Pharmacy students along with the faculties of the Department led by Dr.R.Srinivasan had provided services of general body checkup, blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar level monitoring, and patient counseling. Further to create awareness on different types of cancers that are more prevalent in India were provided during the health camp. The camp was successfully organized and carried out and an approximately 200 public have benefited from the camp.
