National Youth Day Celebrated at HN campus

Glowing tributes were paid to Swami Vivekananda and the importance of qualities such as dedication, honesty, courage and passion towards their work was highlighted by the speakers on the occasion. Swamiji Thadyukthanandaji Maharaj, chief guest urged the students to imbibe and follow the Swami Vivekananda’s ideas and principles in their day to day lives to make themselves more confident and stronger. He said “sacrifice and service” are the two important virtues we need to develop to transform the existing society into a developed society. He also applauded Dr. M.R.Doreswamy for introducing a special course for inculcating good values. In the presidential address, he reminded the students of the golden words of Matru Devo Bhava, Pitru Devo Bhava and Acharaya Devo Bhava. Prof M V Satyanarayana, Director, HN Campus, Dr.Shylashree Haridas, Dean, Commerce and Management, PES University, Dr.Narayan Reddy, Principal, PES PU College, Prof.Rupasi, Chairperson, commerce program were present on the occasion. National Youth Day was celebrated on January 17, 2022 in an online event.
