Sixth annual convocation of PES University was held at PES University premises. Honourable Vice President of India Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu was the chief Guest and delivered the convocation address. Honourable Governor of Karnataka Shri Thaawar Chand Gehlot unveiled the scroll of honour and the Minister of Urban Development Shri Byrati Basavaraj was a guest of honour and represented the Government of Karnataka for the occasion. The convocation was presided by the Honourable Chancellor of PES University and Former Adviser (Cabinet rank) on educational reforms, Government of Karnataka, Dr. M.R. Doreswamy.
Honourable Chancellor of PES University Dr. M.R. Doreswamy in his presidential convocation address congratulated all the graduating students and rank holders for their achievement and expressed his happiness over the fact that a majority of graduating are employed through campus selections. He acknowledged the academic excellence of students, nonetheless, he emphasized inculcating values. He mentioned that PES inculcating in students values and ethics imbibed by Mahathma Gandhi, Vivekanada, and Sir M. Visvesvaraiah and so on that it is mandatory for all students to read these three personalities biographies. Another important milestone is that PES started with 45 students in the gymnasium has reached the current strength of 20 Thousand students. The success story of PESU is built on the pursuit of excellence with an eye on nationally relevant and globally sensitive issues. Another noteworthy achievement of PES is recognizing merit. PESU awards scholarships to all meritorious students and has given away Rs. 35 Crores in scholarship till date. He expressed his belief with a clear message that 'you cannot think of achievement without recognizing the merit. He wanted every graduating student to become job providers rather than job seekers to build a prosperous nation.
Honourable Governor of Karnataka Shri Thaawar Chand Gehlot addressed the students after unveiling the scroll of honour. Shri Gehlot congratulated the students on their achievements and complimented the faculty, students and management for their role in achieving this feat. PES has achieved very good progress and excellence in academic standards within a span of 8 years is commendable and wished for more success. He appreciated the Government of Karnataka for implementing the NEP2020 for transforming education and the next- generation citizens.

Prof. D. Jawahar, Pro-Chancellor of PES University administered the oath to all graduating students. PES University Vice-Chancellor Dr. J. Suryaprasad welcomed the dignitaries and audiences. Dr. K.S. Sridhar, Registrar of PES University rendered the vote of thanks.
