Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu addressed students from PES University in New Delhi on October 16, 2019. Interacting with the students the Vice President said that the judicial processes must become more people-friendly. He said that the law enforcement machinery and the justice dispensing structures must be accessible, credible, equitable and transparently even-handed. He expressed his happiness in interacting with students from PES University and felt that meeting the younger generation was a pleasure which fills him with new energy, optimism and new ideas. He called upon the students to set the highest standards of professionalism and personal integrity in ones life and become a role model for others. He hoped that as lawyers their heart will remain filled with empathy for weaker sections of society and that they will do their bit to help them.
