Diploma classes inaugurated

Inauguration of first semester diploma classes in PES Polytechnic college was an enriching experience for enthusiastic students & parents. The course information book of first year diploma was released by Sri Vinaya Kumar, VP, TKM. He suggested that parents and teachers should inspire and help students to set bigger goals. He talked about the importance of being a responsible citizen and developing quality and skills needed to be job creators instead of job seekers. In his presidential address, Dr. M R Doreswamy, Chancellor, PESU opined that merit is the only criteria to that helps one to rise above caste and creed and reach the peak. He highlighted the importance of having a vision. He also noted that providing education with values is a nation building activity. He observed that an institution’s management, parents and teachers play a key role in grooming a student. On the occasion, five meritorious students of final year were felicitated with gold medals. Toppers in first and second year were felicitated with certificate of merit and gift vouchers. The induction program was conducted under the guidance of Director Prof. M.V. Sathyanarayana & Principal Prof. H. N. Devaraju. The event was held on the PES Polytechnic campus on July 7, 2019.
