PESIT’s automotive club scores big at BIC event in Noida Bengaluru: Team Enigma, the automotive club of PESIT-BSC, participated in two national-level automotive events – BAJA SAE INDIA 2017 and ISIE HVC 2017, from Feb 16 to 20. The HVC team bagged the 1st position in virtual round, 2nd place in innovation and 2nd place in design rounds out of 250 participating teams in the event held at at Buddh Internation Circuit (BIC) Noida, UP. The team taking part in SAE Baja cleared virtual round at 20th position out of 650 teams and cleared technical inspection round at NATRAX facility in Indore. The 38-member team consisted of students from 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of Mechanical, Electronics and Computer Science departments. The members worked for 8 months to build both formula race cars. The HVC is a hybrid vehicle which can run both on motor or engine. The SAE is a All Terrain Vehicle. Team members thanked the PES management, staff and also sponsors who encouraged them throughout their journey.
