Doctors at PES Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Kuppam Campus undertook a complex surgery that was performed in two stages in the form of reduction of multiple mandible fractures and fixation with plate and screw. The patient had suffered multiple facial and scalp injuries resulting in fall back of tongue and airway narrowing and difficulty breathing and suffered a head injury with intracranial bleed. The team of doctors included: Dr. Rajesh (Emergency Physician), Dr. Gururaj (Plastic Surgeon), Dr. Kranthi Kumar (Neuro Surgeon), Dr. Santosh (Anaesthetist), Dr. Jagganath (ICU Specialist) and Dr. Bharat, Dr. Pooja and Dr. Sagar (General Surgeons).
