It was with great pride and immense gratitude that 3100 participants joined 500 Jawans of various regiments in 5K, 10K and 21K run. Samarpana 2018, a unique initiative had 1500 students of PES University running for a cause.
The event highlighted the sacrifices of our martyrs and honored them and their families. The event set up a unique platform for students to interact and pay tributes to the men in uniform. The proceeds from the event were handed over to the families of the martyrs. The team also organized events like medical camp, legal help sessions, career counseling for children, women empowerment, city tour and a cultural evening for the families of the martyrs. Scion of the Mysore royal family, Yaduveer Wadiyar honored the families of the valiant martyrs. PES University Chancellor Dr. M R Doreswamy was present on the occasion.
